Why We Should Care About Warren Lotas

24 year old Designer Warren Lotas has taken the vintage and sneaker communities by storm over the past two years. The young artist hailing from Los Angeles founded his brand from his college dorm at the age of eighteen. Warren Lotas began as a DIY brand, using disturbing images to garner the attention of celebrities such as Wiz Khalifa, Waka Flocka, and Vic Mensa. Lotas cites his inspiration for his designs from his personal experiences, with Harleys, guns, Spaghetti western movies, and comic books frequent reference points. One of Warren’s first breaks as a designer includes his art-inspired sports themed capsule in 2018, releasing vintage NBA t-shirts for teams such as the Houston Rockets, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Los Angeles Lakers. The set of shirts, hoodies, and jerseys have been spotted on artists such as post Malone, travis scott, and NBA stars such as PJ Tucker. Through his talent in paint and design, Warren Lotas has created his own lane of “New Vintage'' wear, remastering and producing rare designs which have been coveted by the vintage community. Examples of this would be his Ghost Rider and Weapon X tees, as the reference pieces for these designs have been sold for over a thousand dollars on websites such as eBay and Grailed. With Globalization allowing newer designers to gain access to top-scale manufacturers over the past few years, Lotas has been able to capitalize tremendously off of the hype of the Nike Sb Dunk by creating custom bootlegs which have been attracting the attention of sneakerheads across the world. Through his DIY and Bootlegging philosophy of design, Warren Lotas has become a large influence in the world of fashion, and is an artist and designer who deserves your attention.
